About us
Established since 1992, South Durham Dog Agility Club's aims are to ensure that we develop activities that both handlers and the dogs enjoy. The welfare of the dogs is paramount as well as making sure that the training environment is suitable for handlers too.
We are a KC registered club that offers regular training sessions for both beginners and advanced handlers.
Training sessions currently are:
Monday: 18:00 - 20:00
Tuesday: 18:15 - 20:15
Wednesday: 14:00 - 16:00, 18:00 - 20:00
Thursday: 18:00 - 20:00 (FOR ADVANCED HANDLERS)
Saturday: 10:00 - 12:00
Our yearly membership is £20 and our prices per dog are:
1 sesson each week: £20 per month
2 sessions each week: £40 per month
3 sessions each week £60 per month
Foundation classes are 8 week courses covering the basics of jumps, tunnels and handling manoeuvres. Each session is 1 hour long. The foundation courses cost £80 per dog and have a maximum of 4 dogs per trainer. The foundation classes run on the following:
Friday: 18:00 - 19:00

For our members that want to compete, we support and encourage them to achieve their potential in a safety focused, positive reward based training environment.
We have a number of club members and dogs that compete successfully around the country winning lots of rosettes and trophies. Currently, we have 3 dogs and handlers that are competing at championship level and several dogs and handlers working towards qualifying to compete at Crufts and Olympia.
